GRAPE: Tempranillo 100% from our La Morejona Estate planted in 1959 at 820 m. high.
APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero DO.
VINIFICATION: Hand-picked in 15 kg. crates. Taken by refrigerated trucks to the winery. The bunches are sorted on a sorting table. After destemming, the berries are sorted on a second sorting table. Cold soak. Alcoholic fermentation in 30 hl. Vats. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES: Plum, currant and cranberry flavors are bright and juicy in this rich red, baked by toast, espresso and loamy earth notes. Smooth, well integrated tannins and fresh acidity support the dense and velvety texture. Harmonious, showing a balance of elegance and power.
FOOD PAIRING: Perfect for game and red meats, roasted vegetables and meats, lamb chops, foie grass, mature cheese.

Since its foundation, the philosophy and objectives of Tábula were well defined, the main thing was the vineyard, a 22-hectare estate between Olivares and Valbuena de Duero, where the winery is built. Later, the “La Morejona” farm will be incorporated, with an area of 4ha and planted in 1959 in Roa de Duero, and other farms in La Horra and Anguix, until a total of 70 ha are currently completed. Being one of the differentiating characteristics respect for the fruit and the search for the essence of our terroir, the terroir, it is in the vineyard where our wines are born.
From there and up to the bottle, the production of this wines follows a rigorous process in which each stage makes its final production unique.
