PRODUCER:
Alma das Donas is located in one of the most symbolic corners of the Ribeira Sacra, known for its peace and tranquillity. The more than 3 Ha of vineyards of regional varieties: Mencía and Godello, lay on steep, south/south-west facing slopes, enjoying an excellent microclimate for wine production and in the shelter of the river Sil. The vines are cultivated by hand on the terraces of the precipitous slopes, thereby preventing any mechanisation other than a simple system of rails to transport the grapes.
The result is a heroic labour containing all the passion and soul needed to create exceptional wines with their own personality.
Perfectly integrated within the surroundings, our production is based exclusively on grapes from vineyards on the slopes of the River Sil.
