TASTING NOTES: Cherry red color. Intense fresh red fruit (currants and cherries), with hints of spices (cinnamon and liquorice ) and a balsamic background. Very balanced on the palate, with a predominance of fruit on a background of fine and light wood.

FOOD PAIRING: Perfect to pair with Iberic bellota Jamon roasted lamb grilled chicken Manchego cheese pork beef pastrami, barbecue.

Miguel Merino is a small, family-owned winery located in Briones, in the heart of Spain’s Rioja region. Founded in 1994, it combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern practices to produce high-quality, limited-edition wines. The winery focuses on Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano varieties, sourcing grapes from old vines in some of the best vineyard sites in Rioja. Known for its handcrafted approach and meticulous attention to detail, Miguel Merino has gained international recognition for creating elegant, expressive wines that showcase the terroir of the region.
